Delivery Information

This document sets out the shipping policy that applies to customers that make a purchase at RC Source. 

 

Domestic Orders within New Zealand

We currently offer the following shipping options within New Zealand - you will be asked to select a shipping method at checkout.

Orders up to $150.00nzd

  • Non-Rural Delivery - $10.00nzd
  • Rural Delivery $17.00nzd

Orders over $150.00nzd

  • Free

Rural Delivery

We will be using Post Haste Couriers or NZ Post to ship items within New Zealand.  Please ensure that you select Rural Delivery if your address is rural to avoid extra charges. If you are unsure you can check your address at addresscheck.co.nz

Delivery Address & P.O. Boxes

Please note that we are unable to modify the delivery address once you have placed your order. We are sorry but we do not ship to P.O. boxes.

 

International Orders

We are currently offering the following international freight to certain countries. This will show in your cart if it applies to you.

Orders up to $150.00nzd

  • $30.00nzd

Orders over $150.00nzd

  • Free

If a freighting option does not appear once you have entered your ship to address, we will give you a quote for shipping once the order has been processed.  If you are unhappy with the quote we can void the sale, and all funds will be refunded.

All international orders use a tracked shipping service where available. Some larger or long objects do not have a tracking option. 

Your package may be subject to import duties and taxes. You, as the customer, are responsible for paying those fees. We recommend that you check with your local customs office before placing an order on our website as these fees can sometimes be significant and we are unable to calculate these for you.

Some large, long or heavy products may be exempt, and have an additional freight charge.   If this is the case, we will email you with the freight costs, and you may void the sale if you wish. 

 

DHL Express shipping also available on request, and will be quoted on a case-by-case basis.  Please ask for a DHL quote in the comments section when placing your order.  

 

Order Processing Time

All orders placed before 1pm (NZDT) Monday to Friday should be processed and dispatched within 48 hours, all orders placed after will be dispatched the next day. All orders placed during the weekend or on a public holiday will be processed from our warehouse on Monday or on the next business day.

 

Orders returned to sender

If your order cannot be delivered and is returned to our warehouse:
• You will be responsible for the cost of any additional delivery attempts, regardless of whether your order qualified for free freight.

If we determine that a refund is appropriate:
• You will be refunded only the cost of goods, minus any fees that we can not recover (PayPal etc), not any freight charges paid.
• If your order qualified for free freight, the refund will be the cost of goods minus any fees that we can not recover and our actual freight cost.

 

Tracking Your Order

Once your order has been dispatched, we will send you a confirmation email with tracking information. You will be able to track your package directly on the carrier’s website.
